Community Health Center (CHC) offers comprehensive, community based, preventive, primary care and wellness services for New Jersey residents of all ages at four convenient locations. CHC health care services are designed to meet the specific needs of the entire family - from annual check-ups and immunizations to sick visits, mental health counseling and critical prenatal care.

We are currently looking for a Dentist to join our team. The position would be responsible for providing dental care services in collaboration with Community Health Center Asbury Park location. This role is Full-Time.

Responsibilities

The key reponsibilities of the CHC Dentist are :

• Supports organization's mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers.
• Learn the Community Health Center culture through interactions with colleagues; taking part in trainings; developing relationships with leadership
• Provides dental treatment to Medicaid and other underserved patients at the sites within established productivity guidelines
• Assists in preparation of clinical reports and documents and complies with all reporting mechanisms
• Act as a resource person to parents, teachers, nurses and other officials
• Ensures compliance with the New Jersey Board of Dentistry & New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services Ambulatory Care Regulations for Licensure as well as requirements of other licensing and accrediting bodies, health maintenance organizations and other insurance carriers
• Collaborates in the provision of in-service education for staff
• Adheres to CHC infection control and safety policies and guidelines of primary care regulatory agencies
• Participates in community outreach programs regarding CHC services and programs
• Supervises dental hygienists and dental assistants in conjunction with the organization's managerial and leadership policies and procedures
• Omission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this position
