The Department of Anesthesiology at Catholic Health embraces the anesthesia care team approach to patient care, involving anesthesiologists, certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs), and anesthesia technicians. Practicing in a collegial care team model with an attending anesthesiologist, the certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) will perform safe anesthesia care for all types of surgical procedures for patients across the life span and will (consist) of the following :

• Evaluates patients preoperatively and, in consultation with the attending anesthesiologist, formulates and carries out an anesthesia care plan including monitoring and recording patient reaction to anesthesia and modifying the anesthetic plan accordingly.
• Providing high quality anesthesia care and monitors the patient's physiologic condition as appropriate for the type of anesthesia and specific patient needs.
• Safely transports patients to and from an anesthetizing location and ensures appropriate care during the postoperative period.
• Participates in post-operative evaluation, care, and follow-up
• Performs additional related duties as a nurse anesthesia within the NYS scope of practice

Salary Range

USD $240,000.00 - USD $295,000.00 / Yr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses / incentive, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
