BILLING ASSISTANT

New Albany

$20-22 / hr

Billing Assistant

  • Prepare, process, and maintain billing records and documentation
  • Enter vendor invoices and billing data into the system
  • Partner with project managers to ensure accurate billing information
  • Respond to client inquiries, resolve billing issues, and track payment discrepancies
  • Support the team with general administrative tasks as needed

    • EXPERIENCE PREFERRED for the Billing Assistant :

  • The Billing Assistant should have knowledge of billing procedures.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, Microsoft Dynamics, and databases.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong general software skills. Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to function effectively and cooperatively as a member of a team and work independently..
  • Ability to stay organized and make the necessary amount of collections communications.

    • MINIMUM EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE Billing Assistant :

  • High School Diploma is required at a minimum.
  • Associate Degree in Finance or Business or equivalent relevant training and experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years experience in accounting, AP, or billing
