As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor for suspicious behavior and / or activities, and report findings according to established guidelines.
  • Interact with the public, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner while maintaining a visible presence.
  • Support access control procedures, including verifying identification and screening as required by site policies.
  • Assist law enforcement or emergency personnel during incidents as directed and in accordance with post orders.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
