Location : Newark Wayne Community Hospital

Hours Per Week : 36 to 40 Hours

Schedule : Day / Evening and Evening / Night shifts (with every other weekend) available based on Unit

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Patient Care & Service : Enhance patients' health through the nursing process; actively collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; perform treatment procedures; and offer physical, educational, and emotional support to patients and their families.

Planning & Communication : Craft and document tailored care plans for each patient, leveraging support from the interdisciplinary health team; maintain clear communication to relay patient health status, treatment protocols, and progress updates.

Electronic Health Record (EHR) Management : Showcase proficiency in EHR systems, ensuring accurate patient documentation and seamless communication.

Compliance : Follow department and system protocols, regulations (local, state, federal), and ongoing education requirements diligently.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing

Registered Nurse license in New York State

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

M - Medium Work - Requires occasional exertion of 20 to 50 pounds, frequent exertion of 10 to 25 pounds, and constant exertion of up to 10 pounds; involves frequent walking, standing, or squatting.
