An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with specialized Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience in the Fort Myers, FL area. This contract position offers a dynamic setting with a schedule designed for 10-hour day shifts, featuring flexible start times and designated days off. Call responsibilities are included to support the surgical teams needs.

Key responsibilities will focus on providing expert nursing care in the CVOR environment, with duties including patient preparation, intraoperative circulation, and scrub assistance during cardiovascular procedures. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, this role demands stringent adherence to safety protocols and effective use of the Epic electronic medical records system.

Qualifications and Desired Experience :

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Cardiovascular Operating Room setting
• Proficiency in both scrub and circulate roles within the CVOR
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Familiarity with Epic EMR system
• Prior travel nursing experience is highly preferred
• Flexibility in floating between facilities within a 50-mile radius, including potential assignments at sister campuses
