A company is looking for a Senior Manager of Design to support their Heavy Industrial Services division in a remote position.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and direct mechanical and piping design teams, ensuring alignment with engineering intent and project schedules
Establish and improve corporate design standards and procedures while ensuring quality and compliance of design deliverables
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews for design team members, while identifying training and career development opportunities
Required Qualifications
Minimum 20 years of experience in industrial design and drafting, with leadership experience
Experience with large, complex engineering projects in heavy industrial markets
Strong knowledge of CAD and 3D design platforms and workflows
Proven ability to lead distributed teams and enforce corporate design standards
Familiarity with project controls and resource planning
