• BSA Hospital is a -bed hospital serving the Amarillo area for over years and continues to be Amarillo’s preferred healthcare provider. At BSA, the focus is to provide quality healthcare in Christian love, service and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing functions under the direct supervision of a registered and licensed Radiologic
• Technologist.
• In addition, to positioning patients' radiographic exams, the aide is also responsible for preparing
• exam rooms, equipment, supplies and contrast medications. Must possess outstanding customer service skills.
• Must flex to accommodate volumes.
• When Radiology student clinical intern is on site and working as an employee of the Diagnostic Imaging
• Department.
• The Radiology clinical intern must not make any radiation exposures in accordance with the Texas Board
• of Medical Radiologic Technology.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Must be currently enrolled and in good academic standing in Amarillo College Radiography Program.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
