About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Acruex Health to find a qualified Electrophysiology Tech in Athens, Georgia, 30606!

Pay Rate : $58.00 - $62.00 / Hourly.

Summary : The Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist supports the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias by assisting electrophysiologists during invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures. This role involves operating specialized EP lab equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare the EP lab, equipment, and supplies for procedures such as EP studies, ablations, cardioversions, pacemaker / ICD implantation, and device interrogations.
• Assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures by operating mapping systems, stimulators, recording systems, fluoroscopy, and other diagnostic equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with recording systems and stimulators.
• Maintain inventory of EP supplies, catheters, and sterile equipment.
