Job Description

We are hiring an EDI Associate to support daily Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) operations within an electrical wholesale distribution environment. This role focuses on validating EDI transactions, maintaining trading partner data, and creating basic reports using Excel and SQL. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering long-term potential for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and validate daily EDI transactions (orders, invoices, acknowledgments, etc.)
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve EDI transaction errors
• Maintain and update EDI trading partner information
• Communicate with internal teams and external partners regarding EDI issues
• Generate basic reports using Excel and SQL
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems
• Assist with EDI testing and onboarding as needed
• Document processes and support ongoing improvements
