Care Coordinator :

Join a growing healthcare organization in Kansas City, KS dedicated to helping individuals access financial assistance for specialty medications. As a Care Coordinator , you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for plan members, healthcare providers, and partner programs, playing a key role in helping patients navigate options for high medical costs.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong customer service mindset, healthcare exposure, and a passion for helping others. Please note pharmacy experience is required for this position for authorization purposes.

What You’ll Be Doing as a Care Coordinator :

  • Act as the main point of contact and support resource for individuals navigating benefit programs
  • Communicate with healthcare partners, internal teams, and outside vendors to move cases forward
  • Help gather necessary documentation and verify program eligibility
  • Keep accurate records and follow up on open tasks to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
  • Resolve questions and troubleshoot issues with professionalism and empathy
  • Support access to financial assistance by researching available resources
  • Contribute to a smooth experience for each member while meeting internal service expectations

    • What You Bring to the Table :

  • 2-3 years of customer service experience; healthcare, PBM, or pharma background is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Empathy driven and professional approach to patient communication
  • Organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple open cases
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and documentation tools
  • Pharmacy exposure in a previous role.

    • Location : Kansas City, KS

    Compensation : $23 / hr - $26 / hr

    Starts : ASAP, Fulltime Role
