About the Role
We are seeking a National Account Specialist to support our National Sales team in the execution and coordination of key customer programs. This role works closely with Sales, R&D, Operations, and Quality to move products from concept through launch, prepare for customer meetings, and ensure accurate follow-through across national accounts.
This position is ideal for someone early in their career who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and interested in building a long-term path in national account sales and commercialization. This is an in-person role and includes travel with the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Support National Account Manager in advancing multiple customer projects from concept through commercialization.
Maintain accurate product, item, and project data across customer portals and internal systems.
Coordinate cross-functionally with R&D, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure timelines, samples, and deliverables are met.
Participate in customer meetings and presentations in support of the sales team, including product presentations, note-taking, action-item tracking, and follow-up (travel required).
Prepare sales materials, presentations, and recaps for line reviews, item launches, and ongoing account support.
Assist with order tracking, reporting, and general sales operations related to national accounts.
Help ensure launches execute cleanly by tracking open issues and driving internal alignment.
Skills & Abilities
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Clear, professional communication skills and comfort working with both customers and internal teams.
Ability to manage a high volume of projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership over assigned work.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to learn customer portals and internal systems quickly.
Interest in developing a long-term career in national account sales and commercialization.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
1+ year of professional experience; internships and relevant part-time experience are welcome.
Willingness to travel as needed to support customer meetings and product launches.
Compensation
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $65,000 to $85,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
