Facilities Technician

Talascend is currently seeking a Facilities Technician for a contract opportunity located San Diego, CA.

Job Description :

The Facilities Technician is responsible for providing general maintenance and repair support to ensure assigned buildings remain safe, secure, and well-maintained. This role includes a broad range of responsibilities, with a focus on plumbing, drywall repair, and painting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform general and preventative maintenance tasks across the facility.
• Monitor and inspect the facility to identify and resolve potential safety or maintenance issues.
• Handle minor carpentry and plumbing repairs, with an emphasis on plumbing systems.
• Patch, sand, and paint drywall as needed.
• Replace light bulbs and ballasts to maintain proper lighting throughout the building.
• Assist with moving office furniture, equipment, and materials.
• Coordinate with and oversee vendors and contractors as necessary.
