    • Sign-On Bonuses :

    Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus with distance-based relocation and an additional $2,000 bonus for PM shifts.

    At Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, you will have the privilege of joining a renowned health care provider dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. You will play a vital role in the Operating Room, making a difference every day with your attention to detail and your ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.

    Schedule Details :

    Full-time evening shifts, 8 or 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with on-call responsibilities mostly overnight. Call hours may vary based on staffing needs.

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgeries, utilizing aseptic techniques and ensuring all instruments and supplies are ready for use.
  • Assist with positioning and transporting patients while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Work collaboratively as a Second Assistant when necessary and support the surgical team by anticipating their needs.
  • Maintain operational efficiency by ensuring all equipment is functioning and accounted for.
  • Uphold the highest standards of care, demonstrating knowledge appropriate to the age of patients served.

    • Requirements :

  • Licensure / Certification : BLS certification from the American Heart Association to be obtained within 6 months.
  • Education : Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology.
  • Experience : No prior experience required.
  • Skills : Proficient in aseptic techniques and knowledge of operating room equipment; strong interpersonal and customer service skills; basic computer proficiency.

    • Physical Requirements :

    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and stressful environment while lifting, pushing, and performing essential tasks, along with wearing protective gear and working with various hospital equipment.
