Electrical Engineering Internship - Summer 2026

Moffatt & Nichol specializes in large complex waterfront infrastructure projects and is recognized as one of the worldwide leaders in this field. We are actively looking for a Intern with Electrical Engineer focus to join our Long Beach or Costa Mesa office. Interns will provide support to the Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation (MEI) team. Work will be performed under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.

• Assist in the preparation of electrical design documents including :

Lighting, power, and grounding plans

Qualifications :

An interest in Power Systems is required

Base salary range :

$27.00 to $33.00 per hour based on years of experience, level of education obtained, professional registration, and meeting required qualification in job description.

Physical requirements :

Majority of work is office based. Some site visits may be required which may necessitate navigating unpaved or natural terrain while carrying equipment.
