2nd Shift EVS Aide

As an EVS Aide, you will be responsible for ensuring a clean and sanitary environment within the hospital. You will be trained in floor care techniques such as stripping, buffing, and waxing floors. Your role will involve cleaning patient rooms after discharges, maintaining cleanliness in bathrooms, and working closely with nurses in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining patient rooms, including removing trash, mopping floors, and handling laundry. You will also maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, elevators, and hallways. Additionally, you will read and complete work orders, including tasks such as trash removal and addressing spill requests. Perform janitorial duties including sanitizing, wiping surfaces, biohazard removal, and general cleaning tasks. Essential skills include experience in janitorial duties, housekeeping, and custodial work. Proficiency in cleaning, sanitizing, mopping, and wiping surfaces is required. Ability to handle trash and biohazard removal is also necessary. Strong customer service skills and fluent English speaking skills are important. One year of experience in high-volume settings such as hospitals, hotels, schools, or office buildings is preferred but not required.

You will work in a hospital setting, interacting with medical staff and maintaining high cleanliness standards. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mission Viejo, CA.
