Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

\n

• Minimum 1 year of emergency room nursing experience required
\n• 18-bed emergency department with 4-5:1 patient ratios
\n• Every other weekend schedule requirement
\n• May float as helping hands to other units when needed
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH
\n• Preferred certifications: TNCC and ENPC
\n• Work with RNs, Nurse Externs, PCTs, and Unit Secretaries
\n• Equipment includes Zolls, ultrasound machines, GE monitors with 12-lead capability, Welch Allen vital sign equipment, and BD IV equipment
\n• Documentation system: Meditech
\n• Perform procedures including IV insertion, blood collection, medication administration, and documentation
\n• Required dress code: Blue scrubs only, no off-brand hoodies or jackets (must be pre-approved per policy)
\n• Maintain professional, respectful, kind, and passionate patient care standards
