At Westgate Resorts , the Chief Engineer plays a critical role in keeping our resort operating at its best while delivering unforgettable guest experiences. This hands-on leadership position puts you at the forefront partnering with your engineering team and cross-functional leaders to solve challenges, drive innovation, and make a lasting impact on the property.

What You’ll Do :

• Lead daily engineering and maintenance operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant resort operations.
• Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Engineering Department in alignment with resort goals.
• Coach, mentor, and develop the Engineering team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Oversee HVAC, refrigeration, and other critical building systems, including troubleshooting, repair, and installation.
• Manage scheduling, budgeting, capital reserves, P&L reviews, and departmental resources.
• Plan and execute Capital and Reserve projects from concept through completion on time and within budget.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and effective partnerships.
• Manage procurement, inventory, and control of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Adhere to all company policies and consistently represent Westgate Resorts professionally.
