Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
\n• On-call responsibilities per unit need
\n• Weekend coverage per unit requirements
\n• Holiday coverage per unit requirements
\n• Must be flexible with hours to meet departmental needs
\n• Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiology Technology required
\n• Minimum 1 year experience in Interventional Special Procedures setting in either IR and/or vascular hybrid setting
\n• Required certifications: ARRT Radiography, Basic Life Support, BLS - Instructor, BLS - Provisional
\n• Assist with providing safe, age appropriate care by performing all exams according to department procedures
\n• Work independently after appropriate orientation and competency demonstration
\n• Set up equipment and position patients for procedures
\n• Work in conjunction with radiologists, vascular surgeons, and cardiologists
\n• Prepare patients and necessary supplies/equipment for procedures
\n• Demonstrate understanding of sterile technique and radiation protection
\n• Verify patient identification using two patient identifiers
\n• Complete preprocedural verification and time out forms
\n• Transport patients as needed and provide patient education
\n• Maintain departmental records and stock levels
\n• Perform procedures in both IR and vascular hybrid interventional procedural settings
