Principal Linux Engineer

A company is looking for a Principal Linux Engineer to manage and improve their enterprise Linux environment.

Key Responsibilities

Execute Linux fleet standardization by building consistent, secure, and scalable server configurations

Implement security and patch controls, managing vulnerability and patching processes

Drive automation for provisioning, patching, and system updates using various tools

Required Qualifications

7-10+ years of enterprise Linux experience managing 50+ servers (Red Hat, Ubuntu, etc.)

Proven track record of executing infrastructure improvements

Deep experience with automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible

Experience managing Linux in cloud environments, preferably Azure

Strong understanding of Linux system hardening and patch management
