Position Description :

We are looking for a Senior Crew Chief to join our ICE team to improve infrastructure in our Flint office. Candidates must have a high school diploma, but an associates degree or higher is preferred. A minimum of five years related experience of land and / or construction survey is required, but eight or more years is preferred. A valid driver's license and experience with Survey equipment is also required. Candidates should be self-motivated and able to work well with others.

Typical responsibilities include :

• Conduct various types of surveying including boundary, topographic, ALTA / NSPS, subdivisions, construction stakeouts, etc.
• Interpret maps, plats, construction drawings and specifications
• Oversee the daily operation of a survey crew
• Document work performed and sketches
• Adhere to company standards for processing and storing data
• Perform various survey calculations
• Organize and maintain survey documentation
• Operate and maintain survey equipment
• Communicate project status to Project Managers and clients
• Research project information at the Registrar of Deeds
• Prepare forms and other paperwork in a timely manner
• Attend seminars and / or training classes
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Maintain excellent client relations
• Maintain a safe working environment
