Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs, develop personalized therapy strategies aimed at helping them achieve their goals
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Employ scientifically supported techniques to boost patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and everyday tasks
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Engage with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical practitioners, and nurses to deliver thorough and well-rounded patient care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and caregivers on effective therapy methods to sustain progress in their home environments
• Monitor Progress and Adjust Plans: Track patient outcomes and modify therapies as necessary, ensuring consistent growth and improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education or advanced certifications are highly encouraged and supported

Licenses & Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is required
• Certification from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is essential
