Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist with strong OB / GYN and general ultrasound skills for night shifts in a maternal fetal unit.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a maternal fetal ultrasound department within an acute care teaching hospital
  • Primary patient population includes high-risk obstetric and general ultrasound cases
  • Night shift schedule, Friday through Sunday, 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • Floating to other settings and variable shifts as needed
  • Uses Epic for charting, prior experience required
  • Backup call required as needed
  • Must work at least one holiday per 13-week contract
  • Perform a wide range of maternal fetal, OB / GYN, general, and small parts ultrasound exams in collaboration with board-certified maternal fetal medicine specialists
  • Be prepared to float and adapt to variable shifts as department needs change
  • Work within a Level I Trauma Center and Magnet-designated hospital environment
  • Submit all requested time off with initial application
  • Two professional references are required for consideration

  • Current ARDMS and BLS certifications required
  • Minimum of five years of ultrasound experience required for first-time travelers
  • Proficiency in OB / GYN imaging across all trimesters, including fetal anatomical surveys and amniotic fluid index
  • Strong background in general abdominal, pelvic / genitourinary, vascular, and small parts ultrasound studies
  • Pediatric exam experience is preferred
  • Ability to perform adult and portable studies across work settings
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • License required if applicable
  • Locals not accepted per facility radius requirements
