This leadership role is based in Falls Church, VA. This role will be accountable for leading our business development efforts in a restricted airborne portfolio, to include protecting and growing our existing franchise opportunities, shaping captures and opportunities, developing robust business development strategies aligned to our business unit priorities and providing a synthesized and integrated approach to maximize our portfolios capabilities./ppEssential Responsibilities:/pulliLeadership of owning business development and campaign activities/liliDevelops and executes a business development strategy and plan for the restricted airborne programs with the objective of growing our relationship and business pipeline/liliDevelop, manage, and support campaigns and engagement plans with customers and government and private stakeholders/liliIdentify new opportunities or applications for products combined with either existing or new product offerings and work closely with the business to develop and shape the requirements and opportunities to maximize profitability/liliInteract comfortably and effectively with senior strategic customers, decision makers, third party partners, and officers within Northrop Grumman/liliCollaboratively executes the programs strategic growth plan/liliManage program priorities and pipeline coordination, and lead determination efforts throughout the program/liliAssess opportunities available within and beyond existing markets, offerings, and business models/liliScan the environment for business opportunities, maintains surveillance over market, and work with the Strategy team to perform financial analysis/liliUnderstand, shape, and monitor profitability, productivity, and growth targets/liliPrepare acquisition proposals, recommend financial and nonfinancial strategic objectives and alternatives, and implement and maintain strategic and operational plans/liliLeverage data to develop clear and measurable Business Development activities in support of Program and Division objectives, allocates assigned Business Development resources in concert with those activities, and tracks progress/liliDrive use of business tools for opportunity management and customer resource management/liliEnsure that business development activities are carried out in accordance with Government, customer, and Northrop Grumman policies, procedures, and processes/liliIdentify and implement business development projects relating to our products and/or industries, technologies, or services/liliHave the knowledge and the collaborative skills to ensure each market is optimally oriented for growth and aligned to how we engage with our customers to meet their demands and grow our business/liliResponsible for driving the Programs growth and marketing objectives by increasing our pipeline resiliency, velocity to qualify opportunities, and the ability to maximize our response to include a full-portfolio perspective/li/ulpBasic Qualifications:/pulliBachelors degree in a technical or business discipline is required and a minimum of 10 years of experience with components of the IC Community or 8 years with a Masters./li/ululliActive Top Secret clearance/liliExcellent writing, presentation, and communication skills with experience presenting to senior executives and customers/liliUnderstanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models and channels to market/liliPromote a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables.
