:
A team member in this position must be proficient in electrical maintenance within an industrial setting with limited supervision.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Must have ability to plan and perform intricate and complicated assembly, disassembly, layout, repair, alteration, maintenance, testing, and installation of electrical equipment including, but not limited to, motors and controls, overhead cranes, heating and ventilating, lighting, etc.
- Must interpret and perform duties through the use of electrical diagrams including elementary, schematic preliminary and writing diagrams.
- Must possess a considerable degree or skill and experience.
- Must understand and utilize testing instruments.
- Ability to work on building maintenance as required.
- Ability to use ladders, forklifts, high lifts, and other various equipment to safely perform assigned tasks.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Must provide sufficient basic hand tools to properly perform the duties of his classification.
- Must exercise care in preventive maintenance on tools or equipment assigned as part of their responsibilities.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- A technical degree/certificate in electrical work or equivalent.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Bend, squat, climb, grasp, reach, lift, or otherwise move about frequently and for extended periods of time.
- Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs. regularly, or more occasionally.
- Walk, stand, or otherwise move about continuously.
- Exposure to typical fabrication physical hazards which may require personal protective equipment.
- Grasps items and performs keyboarding for the occasional operation of a computer.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
