[job_card.job_description]Provide interpretations for multimodality diagnostic services with an emphasis on mammographic skills, including screening and diagnostic mammography, ultrasound, tomography, as well as ultrasound and stereotactic guided biopsies. Participate in educational activities and reviews such as tumor boards and peer reviews. Collaborate with a team of 6 Mammography Technicians, 1 RN Mammography Navigator, and 1 Mammogram Diagnostic Radiology Tech Supervisor. Board Certified in Radiology Proficient in multimodality and multi-organ system diagnostics Current proficiency in mammography, including diagnostic mammograms, tomography, ultrasound, and biopsies Prior experience with MQSA and ACR Mammography Certification Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) : Up to $40,000 per year for up to 5 years, tax-free. Federal Employee Retirement System (FERS) : A robust retirement plan that includes Social Security benefits and a pension. Your FERS retirement benefits are calculated based on years of service and the highest salary; the basic benefit formula ensures you receive a comfortable retirement income. Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) : A retirement savings and investment plan similar to a 401(k), with government matching contributions up to 5%. - Position Title : Physician, Radiologist Mammographer
- Location : South Texas VA, San Antonio, TX
- Work Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM
- Compensation : Competitive salary range of $350,000 to $375,000 with approved relocation and recruitment incentives
- Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) : Yes, up to $40,000 per year for up to 5 years, tax-free
