Job Title : Hospitalist Pediatric Neurology (Neuro)
Location : Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, Denver, CO
Position Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Pediatric Neurohospitalist to join our esteemed team at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, part of the HealthONE and HCA Healthcare systems. This role offers an excellent work-life balance within the scenic landscape of Denver, Colorado, and provides an opportunity to deliver comprehensive neurological care to pediatric patients across a diverse regional referral area.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide inpatient pediatric neurology care, including managing moderate patient volumes with a scheduled 7 days on / 7 days off.
- Participate in the management of critically ill children requiring high-level ICU interventions, including ventilator support, intracranial pressure monitoring, and other complex neurological treatments.
- Conduct continuous EEG monitoring, including interpreting data and preparing detailed reports.
- Deliver consultations to hospitalized pediatric patients in NICU, PICU, general floors, and emergency departments.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team comprising pediatric specialists, neonatologists, and other hospital staff to ensure coordinated and optimal patient management.
- Offer expertise across a broad spectrum of pediatric neurological conditions, serving a referral region encompassing Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico, and Wyoming.
- Maintain high standards of clinical practice, adhere to hospital policies, and participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications :
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child Neurology (BE / BC).Valid medical license to practice in Colorado or ability to obtain one.Demonstrated experience in inpatient pediatric neurology and ICU management preferred.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.Compensation and Benefits :
