Description :

Number of beds in the unit : 33

Patient ratios are 6 : 1 during the day and 7 : 1 at night.

There are 3 techs available per shift and unit secretaries on dayshift.

Equipment commonly used includes IVs, Kangaroo pumps, and SCDs.

The documentation system utilized is Meditech.

Staff must be available to work every other weekend and may float to other appropriate areas as needed.

Unit-specific policies and guidelines will be provided.
