ROLE IMPACT As the HR & Benefits Specialist, you’ll play a central role in ensuring a smooth and compliant employee experience across HR functions. You’ll manage core benefit processes, employee relations, and compliance documentation—all while supporting a positive workplace culture through timely, organized, and empathetic service. - $25 / hour
- Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM; 35 hours / week
- W2 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate employee benefits enrollment and updates with carriers and brokers
- Conduct new hire benefit orientations and manage COBRA transitions
- Reconcile monthly insurance invoices and maintain billing accuracy
- Administer 401k plans, annual audits, and compliance reporting
- Process and track employee leave requests, including FMLA documentation
- Provide first-line support for employee relations, coaching, and policy guidance
- Facilitate offboarding, including exit interviews and asset recovery
- Maintain HR metrics, turnover data, and employee surveys
- Respond to unemployment claims and general HR inquiries
- Support internal wellness, engagement, and development initiatives MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 2–5 years of experience in HR and benefits administration
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Proven accuracy in HR data reporting and analysis
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational abilities CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
- Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Paylocity (preferred)
- Familiarity with self-funded benefits plans (preferred) PREFERRED SKILLS
- Interest in creative industries or arts-related activities
- Experience supporting employee development programs
