Job Summary :

The Team Leader's primary responsibility is to manage a group of team members and provide essential guidance. The Team Leader will act as the primary point of contact for the team and must ensure smooth operations and effective collaboration. They will oversee daily tasks are being achieved and provide resolutions to roadblocks that come to surface during day-to-day activities.

• Provide day-to-day guidance to team members assigned to you.
• Ensure equitable distribution of workload among team members.
• Coach team members on how to safely and effectively complete assigned tasks.
• Recognize achievements and contributions of your team members.
• Facilitate effective communication within the team.
• Help the team navigate challenges and solve problems collaboratively.
• Ensure that work produced by the team meets quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the team.
• Make decisions within the scope of the team's responsibilities.
• Address issues and obstacles that may impede the team's progress.
• Foster a positive and motivating work environment.
• Support management with ad-hoc tasks / projects when required.
• Promote ABC's EHS policies across the department and adhere to all EHS requirements.
• Organize and help facilitate job training activities for new and existing team members.
• Providing information to management regarding PIP's, absence management and performance management.
• Report any incidents and near misses immediately.
