LPN / LVN Psychiatric

Location : Shawnee, KS

Position : Psych LPN -PRN - 7pm-7am

Length : PRN (as needed)

Start Date : ASAP

MUST BE COMFORTABLE WORKING WITH LGBTQ POPULATION

The Psychiatric or Mental / Behavioral Health LPN isresponsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process and thedelivery of patient care in the psychiatric unit of a hospital, mentalhealth / behavioral health hospital, or they can be responsible for care incommunity settings.

The LPN must demonstrate the ability to make clinicaljudgments in an effective and efficient manner with the supervision of a RegisteredNurse and in collaboration with the care team.

Minimum Requirements :

Current LPN license in state of assignment

1 year experience in a psychiatric care setting preferred

Current CPR if applicable

TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
