Commercial Construction Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Construction Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial and/or residential construction, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to produce accurate, detailed cost estimates.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents
• Prepare quantity take-offs and comprehensive cost estimates
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and subcontractors
• Analyze subcontractor and supplier bids
• Assist with value engineering and project budgeting

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating (architectural background a must)
• Strong understanding of building systems, materials, and industry pricing
• Proficiency in estimating software (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar)
• Proficiency with Procore, Auto Desk and other bidding sites.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple bids on tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills are a must
• Solid understanding of construction site operations, safety protocols, and project management principles.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to secure favorable terms.
• Familiarity with contract review procedures, change order management, and risk mitigation strategies.
