Ohio Licensed Commercial Underwriter

A company is looking for an Executive Commercial Lines Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

Underwrite commercial lines insurance policies, including General Liability, Worker's Compensation, Property, and Commercial Auto

Analyze and evaluate new submissions and renewal accounts to determine risk acceptability

Manage a high-volume agency assignment while cultivating strong business relationships with agents and internal partners

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred

Minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial Lines Middle Market Underwriting preferred

Strong knowledge of General Liability, Worker's Compensation, Property, and Commercial Auto lines of business

Proven track record in successful underwriting and portfolio management in the middle market segment

Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment
