Picture your 2nd shift starting with a clear job ticket, a ready Bobst folding–gluer, and a crew that has your back. You dial in the feeder, glue system, plow / fold plates, compression section, and pack station. You bring a carton from flat to flawless—at speed, with accuracy, and without compromise on safety.

What you'll do

• Independently set up, adjust, and run folding–gluer equipment to meet job specifications and quality standards.
• Configure feeder, adhesive systems, plow / fold plates, compression, pack station, and quality inspection devices.
• Verify folding sequence, glue application, paperboard caliper, and scoring alignment; make real-time corrections.
• Set up and operate automated / computer-controlled inspection systems for in-line quality assurance.
• Monitor quality throughout production, perform routine preventive maintenance, and handle minor repairs.
• Read job tickets, confirm schedules, track accurate inventory counts, and complete post-run cleanup.
• Champion safety protocols and continuous improvement within the Finishing Department.
