Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SharePoint & Power BI Specialist to join our IT team. This position will be full-time, remote, and is a contract position.
What You ll Do
Design, configure, and maintain SharePoint Online and On-Prem environmentsImplement Hybrid Cloud Architecture and integrate with Microsoft AzureCustomize SharePoint using SPFx, Power Automate, Power Apps, and workflowsCreate and manage document libraries, lists, metadata, and web partsSet up user access, permissions, and governance policiesPerform migrations using tools such as ShareGate or Microsoft Migration ToolMonitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure complianceProvide end-user support and training, including backup and recovery proceduresDesign and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BIBuild and optimize data models, DAX calculations, and Power Query transformationsConnect Power BI to multiple data sources (SQL Server, Azure SQL, SharePoint, Excel, APIs)Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and dataset securityMonitor and optimize Power BI service performance, including dataset refresh schedules and gateway configurationsTroubleshoot slow-performing reports and optimize queries for efficiencyDocument data models, business logic, and report specifications for future referenceWhat You ll Need Required :
Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fieldMinimum 4 years as a SharePoint Administrator or DeveloperStrong knowledge of Windows OS, SQL Server, Office 365, Power BI, and PowerShellFamiliarity with SharePoint tools (ULS Logs, workflows, forms)Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to adhere to SDLC standards and work independentlyKnowledgeLake experienceBasic knowledge of database tools and procedural languages SQL, T-SQL, PL / SQLFlexibility to support additional applications and reporting tools as neededPhysical Demands :
