Community Canvassers and Team Leaders

Hiring Immediately – $22+ opportunities to earn $150-$360 per week in bonuses

Full-time & Part-time

Help us gather signatures in San Diego to qualify an important local measure which, if passed, will support city union workers in negotiating a long-overdue wage increase. From January through March, our team will engage directly with voters at high-traffic community locations to collect signatures and build support. This is face-to-face petitioning at public sites, not door-to-door canvassing or fundraising.

This role is a great opportunity to gain experience in the following areas : Leadership, Communication & Advocacy, Community Outreach & Engagement, Campaign Work, Public Policy, and Social Enterprise.

Get paid well! Canvassing positions start at $22 / hour. Team Lead positions start at $24 / hour. We offer paid training, sick pay, and bonuses for friend referrals. Part-time and full-time positions are available. All staff are guaranteed an hourly wage plus any earned bonuses, we do not pay by the signature.

Location : San Diego, CA

We are hiring immediately. All positions begin in January and run through the end of March, with possibilities for advancement afterwards.

Canvasser Responsibilities ($22 / hr) :

• Engage with the public in a friendly and respectful manner
• Deliver a clear campaign message and collect complete petition signatures from voters
• Participate in staff training to improve outreach skills
• Follow the campaign’s safety protocols

Team Leader Responsibilities ($24 / hr) :
