Pay Rate : $17.00 / hr.

Schedule : Monday 4pm – 9pm

Tuesday 4pm – 9pm

Wednesday 4pm – 9pm

Thursday 4pm – 9pm

Friday 4pm – 9pm

Saturday 8am – 12noon

Job Description :

We are seeking a reliable and responsible Pool Attendant to oversee the safety and cleanliness of our pool area. The Pool Attendant will be responsible for ensuring that all guests adhere to pool rules and regulations, maintaining the pool area and equipment, and providing exceptional customer service to all guests. Job duties are listed below :

Duties :

• Will check in and check out any reservations that have been made. Instructions and guides will be provided for reference.
• Will not grant access to anyone that is not in possession of an access card. In the event a guest possesses an access card and says the card is not providing entry, only then can you provide access, ensuring the guest is properly signed in and document the access for submission to the General Manager.
• This is not a public pool. Only Residents are allowed and their sponsored guests
• Regulate guests limits are adhered to the maximum per sponsoring unit.
• Ensures that all chairs, chaises, and tables are properly placed during periods of non-use or significant slow periods during a work shift.
• Will regularly perform a PH level test (a minimum of two tests per 8-hour shift and once per a 4-hour shift) on the pool and spa with each test taken from a different section in the pool each time. You will record each test results.
• Provide Manager with your recorded PH level test results of the pool and spa. Manager will take appropriate action on the next business day.
• In the event bodily fluids are released in the pool or spa like vomit, feces, and or blood you will immediately direct everyone to exit the pool or spa and have all guests in the recreation area to depart the facility. You will secure the area for the remainder for the day. Pool and Spa will remain closed until Pool and Spa is cleaned and chemical balance of the pool and Spa has been restored back to normal.
• No Exceptions this requirement includes any reservation agreement in effect at the time.
• Always monitor all guests, ensuring that they are in compliance of the Association House Rules.
• Always be courteous, kind, and polite when reminding guests of Association House Rules and request compliance. Profanity should never be used in the course of job performance or at any time when on property. You will always demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism.
• Smoking is not permitted pool area
• Remove debris in or around the pool area.
• Visually inspect all areas of the swimming pool to ensure that all lights are off, doors are secured to include street facing doors of pump room and supply room and ensure no fire or safety hazards exist.
• Store daily logs, sign-in sheets / sign-out sheets, and equipment / basic desk supplies in the Pool Attendant primary post or workstation area.
• Secure all doors and gates.

Job Requirements :

Physical Demands : The Pool Attendant will be required to stand for extended periods of time and may lift up to 50 pounds. The Pool Attendant will also be required to perform routine maintenance on pool equipment, which may require bending, stooping, and reaching.

Work Environment : The Pool Attendant will primarily work outdoors in a pool area environment. The work environment may be noisy and require the Pool Attendant to work in close proximity to others.
