Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Data Scientist - Content, based in Palo Alto, CA. The Data Scientist will lead efforts in extracting, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets to generate actionable insights. Day-to-day tasks include conducting statistical analysis, developing detailed data visualizations, applying data science techniques to improve content recommendations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize the platforms. The candidate will also support the team by identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities to enhance the user experience through data-driven strategies.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Data Science, including machine learning, predictive modeling, and algorithm development
• Strong foundation in Statistics and applied statistical methodologies
• Expertise in Data Analytics and Data Analysis, focusing on identifying trends and solving problems
• Experience with Data Visualization tools and techniques to present complex data in a user-friendly way
• Strong programming skills and familiarity with tools such as Python, R, SQL, or similar
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex datasets
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in cross-functional teams
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields
• Experience in e-commerce or price comparison platforms is a plus
