Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Glen Burnie, MD. Ryder Employees who Drive on this account earn $1350 or more weekly and it gets better. Ryder Drivers are paid weekly with a weekly guarantee of $1250 per week. Solo Miles Pay : $0.75 per mile and Solo Stops Pay : $19.89 per stop. Per diem pay : $51.75 per night with three nights per month and overnights for route in Ryder booked hotel. Paid training and schedule : Monday Friday no weekends, start time : 5 : 00 AM - 6 : 30 AM.

Deliver SOLO to MD, VA, WV, PA, OH, DE. Route : home daily. Tractor type : day cab. Able to accept an automatic restriction. Trailer type : 42', 45', and 53' dry vans and occasional straight trucks. Equipment : electric and manual pallet jack, dolly. Ryder will train you on all equipment needed to be successful. Freight : touch flooring material. Equipment includes 24 / 7 roadside maintenance and company drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.

Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age, pass a Ryder drug test, pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years, pass a DOT physical, pass a Ryder road test, provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position, must have class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle : 9 months experience within the past 3 years, or 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, or 5 years' experience within the last 10 years, ability to follow written and / or oral instructions, ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures.

Responsibilities

Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and / or state laws, regulations, and / or agency rules, standards and guidelines, detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards, maintaining accurate records and logs, loading / unloading freight or assisting in the loading / unloading of freight if required by customer, performs other duties as assigned.
