Under the direction of the Controller, the Accounting Supervisor is responsible for maintaining all general accounting functions, preparing operational financial analysis and financial statements with supporting schedules. Payroll responsibility and ownership in tandem with corporate directional needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
PAYROLL Related:
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year College or university with a concentration in Finance or Accounting. Minimum of five years’ related experience. Manufacturing environment experience is a plus.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Advanced working knowledge of Excel to include V-look up and pivot tables, ability to comprehend additional software as needed to support the financial reporting and daily operations of the accounting dept. (OneStream, Sage Fixed Assets, Power BI, SmartSheets, Adobe Sign, ERP systems, etc.)
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Must possess good decision-making, communication, and collaboration skills.
