A Brief Overview

Performs maintenance / servicing operations throughout the hospital. Maintains, repairs, and operates electrical and mechanical equipment

What you will do

• Performs engineering, general maintenance, and repair activities of hospital.
• Maintains and repairs various machines, equipment and systems to ensure maximum operating efficiency; makes repairs and adjustments as required and in accordance with manufacturer's specifications and operations manuals.
• Performs preventive maintenance and safety inspections of machines / equipment. Inspects, adjusts and repairs miscellaneous hospital equipment including beds, autoclaves, televisions, etc.
• Maintains safety inspections and repair records. Communicates effectively and follows up with engineering and other hospital staff regarding work orders and inspection / repair activities.
• Operates various testing equipment and power tools.
• Maintains established department policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection control program.
