Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide compassionate care to behavioral health patients in accordance with our established policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities :

• Perform thorough admission and shift assessments for assigned patients, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
• Utilize critical thinking to analyze patient data and promptly communicate any changes in conditions to the physician.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and evaluate individualized treatment plans.
• Document all nursing care provided, adhering to nursing standards and our ministry policies.
• Implement and record physician orders with precision and consistency.
• Monitor patient safety and the overall environment within the unit.
• Provide guidance and supervision to LPNs and techs in their care delivery.
• Educate patients and their families based on identified needs and document the education provided in the Electronic Health Record.
• Apply evidence-based practices tailored to the unique clinical and age-specific needs of our patients.
• Demonstrate professional nursing standards and uphold the ANA Code of Ethics in daily practice.
• Maintain a constant state of alertness and a safe working environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
