Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide compassionate care to behavioral health patients in accordance with our established policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities :
- Perform thorough admission and shift assessments for assigned patients, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
- Utilize critical thinking to analyze patient data and promptly communicate any changes in conditions to the physician.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and evaluate individualized treatment plans.
- Document all nursing care provided, adhering to nursing standards and our ministry policies.
- Implement and record physician orders with precision and consistency.
- Monitor patient safety and the overall environment within the unit.
- Provide guidance and supervision to LPNs and techs in their care delivery.
- Educate patients and their families based on identified needs and document the education provided in the Electronic Health Record.
- Apply evidence-based practices tailored to the unique clinical and age-specific needs of our patients.
- Demonstrate professional nursing standards and uphold the ANA Code of Ethics in daily practice.
- Maintain a constant state of alertness and a safe working environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education Requirements :
Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent education for licensing.Experience :
Minimum of one year of registered nursing experience.Physical Requirements :
Frequent standing, walking, and use of speech for communication.Ability to lift / carry and push / pull objects weighing up to 25 lbs frequently.Frequent sitting, reaching, and keyboard / data entry activities.Occasional lifting of patients and objects weighing 25-50 lbs.Ability to navigate various physical tasks including bending, stooping, and driving.Licensure and Certifications :
Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA).Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license required based on state of work location.Work Shift : Day Shift (United States of America)
