Summary
We are seeking a Project or Staff Land Surveyor to join and contribute to the growth of our Survey Group in Illinois. In this role, you will support and / or lead land surveying tasks for a variety of projects, including residential and commercial subdivisions, roadway and municipal improvements, plats, and legal descriptions. You’ll work collaboratively with HR Green project managers, engineers, clients, and contractors to deliver accurate and high-quality results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead and oversee survey crews and office staff in completing project tasks.
Assist senior surveyors with field data collection and drafting.
Education and Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in land surveying.
Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other surveying or engineering tools.

Compensation Range
Staff Land Surveyor II / III (Surveyor-in-Training) : $65,500.00-111,750.00
Project Land Surveyor I / II : $78,450.00-128,200.00
The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Illinois Salary Transparency amendment to the Equal Pay Act of 2003. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to : individual education, qualifications, skills, prior work experience, competencies, and geographic work location. The total annual compensation package may consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate, after a qualifying period, in our performance and discretionary incentive bonus program(s).
