We are seeking an experienced engineering technician to join our team.

Full time, 40 hours per week. - some overtime and flex schedules. May require occasional weekend work.

Typical job responsibilities include :

  • Field inspection of site improvements for public and private projects
  • Field inspection of erosion control BMP’s for sites
  • Writing project field reports
  • Coordinating with Contractors for testing and required changes
  • Work with Project Engineer on changes to plans during construction
  • Work with City / County staff on final punch list items
  • Keep as-built notes on plan sets for projects
  • Training to be a certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead (CESCL)

  • Hourly wage commensurate with experience
  • Overtime as needed (paid at overtime rate)
  • 8 paid holidays, 15 days PTO per year after 6 months

    • The preferred candidate will have :

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required and reliable transportation
  • Experience understanding site construction plans, codes and specifications
  • experience inspecting public improvement site work a plus
  • Experience reading survey stakes a plus
  • Willing to work outside in all seasons
  • Good project organization skills with ability to track multiple projects
  • General computer skills including : Word, Excel, Adobe Pro, File Management
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written
