Job Summary and Responsibilities

Mercy Medical Group (MMG) , a large multi-specialty medical group in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a full time Board Certified OB Hospitalist Physician to their team. Responsibilities would include covering the OB emergency department, covering patients in labor & delivery, providing emergency gynecological consults, and being available for surgical assist needs. Opportunity Highlights :

• Incoming physicians would be based out of Mercy Hospital of Folsom
• Hospital does approximately 600-700 births / year
• Join a growing program which will consist of 3 dedicated Ob Hospitalists and support from a large pool of clinic based doctors in the program
• 24 hour back-up Ob on-call.
• Full time would be twelve 12 hour shifts / month and shifts can be done as 24 hour shifts.
• Five 12 hour back-up shifts a month required (home call). Additional compensation provided for back-up shifts.
• Additional compensation provided for holidays and doing additional shifts.
• Level I nursery with support from the Level lll NICU at Mercy San Juan Medical Center
