Program Support Specialist

Part-time Gainesville, FL
Schedule : M-Th 8am - 1pm
Pay Rate : $15
Responsibilities :
- Receive visitors in person and respond to inquiries by telephone, email, and chat to assist with applicants, enrollment, testing, and registration processes or other specific support services regarding Admissions, Records, and Financial Aid.
- Provide technical support for encountering registration issues.
- Provide immediate information and updates regarding inquiries about events and processes.
- Perform a wide variety of administrative tasks including data entry and the drafting, editing, and revision of letters, reports, and other materials. Establish, maintain, process, and / or update files, records, and / or other documents.
- Provide service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement; present a professional image in word, action, and attire.
- Submit work orders for the maintenance of exterior, classrooms, and communal spaces in the assigned area.
- Provide support for Blount Center operations; such as greeting visitors, answering phone calls, resolving issues based on established college policies and departmental practices, while making appropriate referrals as necessary.
- Distribute correspondence and other materials to department staff and faculty.
- Communicate, collaborate, and maintain relationships with internal and external community constituents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Working hours : 8 : 00 AM - 1 : 00 PM
