Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented payroll specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and department managers to resolve payroll discrepancies and support employee inquiries.

What You'll Be Doing

• Compile and process payroll information including data entry of timesheets, deductions, related data.
• Ensure compliance with company practices as well as local, state, federal laws and guidelines.
• Research and answer employee questions regarding pay policies, payroll actions, and payroll errors.
• Act as liaison for communication and problem solving between the Corporate Payroll Department and assigned locations.
• Produce the necessary year-end reports.
• Completing statistical reports, statements and summaries related to pay and benefits accounts and submitting them to appropriate departments.
