Position : Software Test Analyst 5

Location : Lansing MI (48933)

Client : State of Michigan

Duration : 12 Months

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Test Analyst with extensive experience in both manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced agile environment and contribute to the success of critical projects. This position requires a hybrid work schedule with in-office attendance two days a week.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases.
  • Analyze requirements and user stories to create effective reusable test cases.
  • Automate web applications using frameworks such as Playwright Selenium or Cypress.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining independent work capabilities.
  • Ensure adherence to agile methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Top Skills Required :

  • 5 years in manual and automated testing.
  • Proficient in analyzing requirements and designing test cases.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong knowledge of automation frameworks (Playwright Selenium Cypress).
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with local candidates preferred.
