Director of Design System

A company is looking for a Director, Product Design.

Key Responsibilities

Define and champion the long-term strategic vision and roadmap for the Design System

Manage and mentor a team focused on system components and foundations, fostering collaboration and craft excellence

Act as the primary liaison between Product Leadership, Design Leadership, and Engineering teams to ensure effective system adoption

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Product Design, UX Engineering, or Design Systems, with 2+ years in a management role

Proven experience in defining and scaling foundational standards for product experiences

Expert proficiency in modern design tools, particularly Figma

Strong familiarity with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS / SASS, and JavaScript

Deep understanding of web accessibility standards and experience embedding inclusive design practices
