We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Environmental Assurance Consultant within our Corporate Assurance team based in Houston, Texas . This position will engage with personnel from all our business lines, including our domestic and international oil and gas operations, our chemicals segment and manufacturing sites, and our low carbon ventures subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Developing, executing and maintaining an internal audit / compliance assurance program for domestic and international oil and gas environmental regulatory requirements;

2. Developing and maintaining environmental regulatory applicability determinations for domestic and international oil and gas operations;

3. Leading or participating in compliance assurance / audit activities for environmental media (air, water, waste, remediation) for domestic and international oil and gas operations;

4. Compiling complex regulatory requirements both domestically and internationally and identifying commonalities in support of enterprise-wide solutions for efficient compliance assurance;

5. Evaluating new technologies and innovative approaches to improve the compliance assurance program for domestic and international assets;

6. Monitoring changing regulations and / or emerging trends / issues to keep at the forefront of changing regulatory requirements;
